Property Management Center Joins in Preserving the “Boon Hai Than Fai” Tradition with a Food Sharing Booth

On February 7, 2025, the Director of the Property Management Center, along with staff members, participated in the annual “Boon Hai Than Fai” cultural event by organizing a food booth offering warm soybean milk and steamed meatballs to attendees at Saeng Raeng Temple.

The event aimed to promote and preserve Buddhism while fostering the continuation of the “Boon Hai Than Fai” tradition—an important cultural identity of the local community. The event was lively, attracting a large number of participants, including members of cultural networks from various areas.

“Boon Hai Than Fai” is a significant traditional merit-making event among Thai people. It features religious ceremonies and the sharing of warm food in the morning, not only as a form of merit-making but also as a way to strengthen relationships among government agencies, local communities, and cultural networks.

The atmosphere of the event was filled with warmth and unity. The food booth organized by the Property Management Center drew considerable interest from the public and became a highlight of the event. This activity reflects the strong collaboration between government agencies and local communities in preserving valuable cultural heritage for future generations.
