On January 14, 2025, the Property Management Center of Walailak University conducted a food sanitation inspection at Chor Pradu Food Center and Canteen 1. The inspection covered both physical assessments and coliform bacteria testing in food, utensils, and the hands of food handlers at each vendor, aiming to enhance food safety and public health for consumers.
This initiative was carried out with the cooperation of 145 students from the School of Public Health. The students were divided into two groups: 80 in the morning and 65 in the afternoon. They conducted inspections of 40 target food vendors under the supervision and quality control of Assistant Professor Saengchom Siriphanich, an expert in food sanitation.
The inspection utilized SI-2 solution to analyze coliform bacteria levels, an important indicator of food and utensil hygiene. This program is part of relevant academic courses and is designed to raise awareness about the significance of food sanitation in the community.
The Property Management Center of Walailak University remains committed to promoting food safety and hygiene standards for the benefit of students, staff, and the general public who utilize the facilities sustainably.
