Student Dormitory Division Holds 2026 Academic Year Dormitory Student Meeting for Over 5,500 Students, Promoting Understanding of Rules and Dormitory Life

The Student Dormitory Division, Center for Property Management, Walailak University, organized the “2026 Academic Year Dormitory Student Meeting” to provide students with knowledge and understanding of dormitory rules, regulations, guidelines, and appropriate practices for living together in the dormitories. The meeting also introduced students to relevant contact channels, as well as avenues for seeking assistance and consultation when they have questions or encounter problems. More than 5,500 dormitory students participated in the meetings.

The meetings were held from June 15–19, 2026, from 5:30–8:30 p.m., at the Main Auditorium, Thai Buri Building, Walailak University. To ensure comprehensive and effective communication, students were divided into groups according to their dormitories. The schedule was as follows: June 15 for Dormitories 1, 2, and 3; June 16 for Dormitories 4, 5, 10, and 11; June 17 for Dormitories 13, 16, and 18; June 18 for Residence A and Residence C; and June 19 for Dormitories 14 and 17 and Residence B.

The meeting focused on ensuring that dormitory students from all academic years were informed of important information and guidelines. Topics included dormitory regulations, maintaining cleanliness and order, living together while respecting the rights of others, and channels for contacting and seeking assistance from the Student Dormitory Division. Students who were undertaking cooperative education, professional internships, teaching practicums, or teaching observations were exempted from attending the meeting.

In addition, the activity featured an interactive Q&A session with prizes, creating an engaging learning atmosphere and encouraging active student participation. The activity received positive interest and enthusiastic participation, providing students with opportunities to ask questions and exchange constructive opinions about living in the dormitories.

Students who attended the meeting were also awarded 6 Goodness Points, consisting of 2 points for Discipline, 2 points for Gratitude, and 2 points for Leadership.

The results of the activity indicated that students were highly satisfied with the meeting and demonstrated improved knowledge and understanding of dormitory rules, regulations, and guidelines. The successful implementation of the project contributed to orderly dormitory management and achieved its objectives. It is expected to further promote students’ discipline, responsibility, mutual respect, and quality of life throughout their university experience.
